We chose to present you one iconic recipe for summer: the Sharbate – e – Alboloo or sour cherry syrup:
And here how to do it:
– 1,5 kg fresh or frozen sour cherries
– 5 cups sugar
– Juice the cherries in a juicer and pour into a preserving pan
– Add the sugar and 5 1/2 cup water and boil on a medium-high heat for about 10-12 minutes
– Remove from the heat and cool before using
>> serve it super fresh with a lot of ice. Usually Iranians like to mix the syrup with 2 parts water to 1 part syrup. Mix it your own taste.
